As our name indicates, we are a bakery and deli. We specialize in Amish/Mennonite-style baked goods. Did you ever hear of a Whoopie pie? These are a tasty, round, baked soft cookie with filling. We also bake a lot of bread, with various kinds available, including sourdough, white, and wheat. People ask all the time if we have donuts, and the short answer is no. However, we do have something called an “Amish Donut,” which is more of a Danish but shaped like a donut. This was inspired by a baked good given to me while visiting some Amish friends in Pennsylvania. We have other baked goods as well, including cookies, cinnamon rolls, and sticky buns.

Our most popular item is our homemade sandwiches. These can be ordered online, by phone at (907) 420-0440, email, or in our store. These sandwiches are made with your choice of our own homemade bread, and various meat and cheese options. Most of our meat and cheese are shipped in from Ohio and Pennsylvania, straight from the heart of Amish country.

Just very recently our soft serve ice cream machine was delivered! Currently we only have chocolate and vanilla, but we plan to offer various flavors of soft serve.

And, we just opened up our coffee bar! We are the largest JavaTaza dealer in Alaska, we sell both coffee beans, k-cups, and hot coffee. The coffee is ground and brewed per cup, while you wait. Our favorite flavor is the Costa Rican Dark Roast, which is very smooth. We also have some lighter roasts, decaf, and flavored coffees as well.
